Board Game Club at Food and Board

Want to play more board games but don’t always have a group to play with?

Our Board Game Club is a relaxed, sociable evening where you can meet other local players, join a table and discover new games from the Food and Board collection.

Come with friends or come on your own. Either way, the aim is simple: play some games, meet people and enjoy a few hours around the table.

Regular Board Game Club

The club runs every Tuesday evening and is open to anyone who wants a regular chance to play.

  • Day: Every Tuesday
  • Time: 19:00–22:00
  • Cost: Usual table hire charges apply.
  • Booking: Booking is helpful so we can make sure there’s enough space for everyone.

What to Expect

Board Game Club is friendly, social and easy to join.

You can expect:

  • A mix of regulars and new faces
  • Plenty of games to choose from
  • Help finding a game that suits the group
  • A relaxed way to meet other local players
  • Food and drinks available while you play

You don’t need to arrive with a full group or know exactly what you want to play.

New to Board Games?

You’re very welcome.

You don’t need loads of experience with modern board games to join in. If you’re not sure what to play, we can help you choose something suitable and get you started.

With hundreds of games in the collection, there’s usually something that works for the group.

What to Bring

Nothing specific.

Food and Board has a large library of games ready to play, so you can simply turn up and choose something when you arrive.

If there’s a particular game you’d like to play, feel free to bring it along too.

Food & Drink

You’re welcome to order food and drinks while you play.

We serve freshly prepared food, snacks, cakes, ethically sourced coffee, speciality tea, cold drinks, beer, and milkshakes, with options available for a range of dietary requirements.
