Amazing service and good prices not only for the coffee but also the time spent there! At £2 per adult,per hour it leaves room to depart the world of reality and submerge yourself into any game of your choosing. Giving families (like mine) quality time needed to reconnect and all within a budget suitable for all.

Brilliant cafe with so many games to choose from, and not a video game in sight. So nice to see the kids enjoy the games and get on well. Plus no pieces are missing! Really friendly team who run it too. We will be back!

The staff working here are so friendly and full of knowledge about all the games they have in stock. The food is amazing, they are so focused on making sure they offer alternatives so that everyone can come and eat/drink, regardless of allergies! If you live in the area, or are visiting, I would recommend checking out this wonderful place!

Great having this around the corner. The owners are lovely and really patient when helping choose games and explaining the rules. It’s my daughter's new favourite place!

A wonderful game cafe for all ages. A great selection of card and board games. Hosting various social nights. I’ve been a couple of times now with my son. Sarah and Robert are brilliant at helping you with new games, setting them up and showing you the ropes. Food and drinks are priced right. Their hot chocolate and milkshakes are becoming a local legend!

This place really deserves a visit. The staff are super friendly. It has a lovely atmosphere in which young families were playing alongside tables with groups of friends. Time really flew while we were here. Parking was free outside & readily available.
We will definitely be going back! Highly recommend it.

Great little local place to go with the little one. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, offering recommendations and guidance on games. To top it off, the coffee is very good and a thumbs up on the lemon cake from my little one (praise indeed). We'll definitely be coming back for more games!

Staff are amazing and really helpful. They will guide you through any of the games/events held. The food and drink are worth it on there own plus option to play some games make it great activity when not sure what to do. They have games, food and drinks to cover whole family.

I think we're here every week. The staff are amazing and friendly, the food is delicious and amazing portions. They have so many events to meet people, and it is hard to meet people these days. With social games, Magic and DnD, there is something for everyone, on top of the standard board games that all have a relaxed feel to them.

Great friendly team who make a really fun atmosphere for all their games nights! A wide variety of board games and card games as well as a decent menu, even if you have allergies/intolerances. I have Coeliac Disease and they've always got options for me. A wonderful, unique place!

We spent a couple of hours at the Board Game Cafe and thoroughly enjoyed it! We had some hot drinks and cakes that went down a treat. Would recommend it to any group of friends that like board games…good way to try before you buy 😉

This is a great little place to go and try out games without the expense of buying them. Simply sit at a table, pick a game, order your food and drink if you want any, then play to your hearts content. Great entertainment for family or friends.
Into D and D or Magic they have events for those too. Want something specific, just ask, if they can, they will accommodate. Plenty of games for all ages, even toddlers.
